OUR FOUNDER

Christy J. Rew, CCC-SLP, HPCS

Christy J. Rew is an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist with two graduate degrees in Speech Pathology and Special Education, respectively. With equine related certifications including Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist (HPCS), PATH Registered Therapist, PATH Therapeutic Riding Instructor and EAGALA and PATH certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, Christy is able to apply her clinical knowledge and horse expertise to accommodate a wide range of client needs. She specializes in the use of equine movement as a treatment strategy (Hippotherapy) to serve children with communication, swallowing, cognitive, learning, and neurological deficits. Christy is excited to share her passion and experience in the rapidly expanding field of equine assisted therapy in order to educate medical providers, consumers, their families, and caregivers about this alternative treatment option.
